Today Ebeth found out she made the elementary track team!!!
She is so excited! She tried out last year and didn't make it but she nailed it this year! The one track meet they have is on May 7. They will have 5 practices.
The first one is in about a week or so.....:)
She was on cloud nine today!

And mom to mom- they seriously cut on the elementary track team? Seems a little young to start the comeptition....although in our district, the meets go on forever because of all of the kids participating...
yes, Kelli, they seriously cut...
because last year my baby didn't make it. Down south they take these sports seriously.......
I personally thought it was a bit young to start cutting too.....
but they will be more than prepared for jr. high that's for sure!
Thanks for the congrats! She is really so fired up....and so is her daddy! He said all that training before try-outs did the trick!
Kudos to Ebeth!! Way to go! I'm so proud of her, and I hope she really enjoys the practices and the meets. Who knows, one day she may be the star athlete of the school!
